OK, so I'm sure this cute little picture of a monkey getting stuck between a couple of bowling balls is going to offend some. You may think it is sexual in nature. Others may well think of promotes cruelty to animals and some may even call it racist.I guess what I am getting at is everything we say and do in this world is open to interpretations... especially if you are in the public eye. A few weeks ago, a political cartoonist was slammed because he implied a monkey wrote the stimulus plan. Everyone went off the handle and assumed he was saying black people are monkeys... come on people, Darwin proved we are all monkeys so get over it.
This week, the shoe is on the other foot. It seems Barack Obama made a comment on the Jay Leno show stating his bowling skills were crap. In fact, he compared them to the special olympics. Yes, I understand the people competing in the special olympics are very good at what they do, in fact they are often better than able bodied individuals in the same sport. The thing is, by naming the special olympics "special" they themselves are indicating there is some hurdle to overcome. So Barack has a difficulty when it comes to handling any balls other than basketballs and he joked about it. Come on people pull the fucking broom out.
As for the picture, doesn't it look cute.
